Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial health by managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. The role ensures accuracy of financial data, supports strategic decision-making, and drives improvements in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  2. Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

  3. Analyze financial performance and provide insights on variances, risks, and opportunities.

  4. Prepare management reports and dashboards to support strategic decisions.

  5. Financial Management & Reporting

  6. Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  8. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure operational sufficiency.

  9. Accounting Oversight

  10. Review and validate journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules.

  11. Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.

  12. Internal Controls & Compliance

  13. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.

  14. Coordinate with auditors (internal & external) and support audit requirements.

  15. Management Support & Business Partnering

  16. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

  17. Support different departments with cost analysis, profitability studies, and financial models.

  18. Participate in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.

  19. Team Leadership

  20. Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.

  21. Promote a culture of accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (PH GAAP / IFRS).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems/ERP.
  • Experience handling audits, compliance, and internal controls.
