Assistant Finance Manager

This position will lead critical process improvement initiatives across our finance operations. This role is centered on treasury process review and enhancement, while also extending to other key areas such as FP&A, month-end close, forecasting, reporting, and accounts payable/receivable. The goal: simplify, standardize, and strengthen processes for better efficiency and control. This position will report directly to Finance Manager.
The position requires working on a normal office setup and may work on a flexible work arrangement.
This is a project-based position for six (6) months only and will report directly to Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treasury Process Review & Enhancement: Conduct a thorough review of all treasury-related processes, addressing audit findings. Recommend and implement improvements to make workflows more robust, automated, and efficient.
- Finance Process Documentation & Optimization: Review processes across FP&A, month-end, forecasting, reporting, AR/AP, and file management. Develop clear documentation and SOPs for all critical finance processes. Identify gaps and propose practical solutions for better accuracy and speed.
- Continuous Improvement: Bring fresh eyes to existing workflows and challenge inefficiencies. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure changes are practical and sustainable.
Qualifications:
- 4 years bachelor's degree in business (Banking, Accountancy, Economics, Management)
- Strong experience in treasury operations and general finance processes.
- Background in process improvement, internal controls, and automation.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams.
