
Inside Sales Representative

This is a varied role that involves qualifying inbound leads, updating the CRM, making follow-up calls, conducting warm and cold outreach, and providing general sales support. A key responsibility is to review and qualify inbound leads within 5–10 minutes during business hours, with the rest of the time dedicated to other productive sales activities.
Core ResponsibilitiesInbound Lead Qualification – Review and qualify leads in the Lead Management System and assign the correct status (Approved, Declined, Pending). Where more information is needed, send follow-up emails via HubSpot using pre-prepared templates and follow up as required. Some leads will require phone follow-up if there is no reply to email. High-value leads, such as large fleet or multi-unit opportunities, will be flagged and passed to the Sales C Marketing Manager for direct qualification through a simple escalation process.
Daily HubSpot Updates – Each morning, update lead statuses from the previous day (Sold, Declined, etc.).
- Customer Follow-up – Call customers for feedback, record all feedback in HubSpot, and encourage Google Reviews where feedback is positive.
- Warm/Cool Outreach – Contact past leads (3+ years ago) and prepared lists. Commissions paid for self-generated leads.
- Call Handling – Answer routed incoming calls, filter irrelevant ones, and pass on relevant messages.
- Support Tasks – Research prospect lists, monitor competitors, keep HubSpot data clean.
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Confident phone manner and willingness to make calls
- Comfortable with both admin and customer-facing work
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Familiarity with tools like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Available to work Australian business hours
- Experience in customer service, telemarketing, or inside sales
- Previous remote work experience
- CRM experience (HubSpot ideal but not essential)
- Proactive and adaptable
- Enjoys variety in tasks
- Able to switch between admin and phone work easily
- Reliable and consistent
- Full training on our lead qualification process, HubSpot usage, and sales workflows
- Industry training to provide the knowledge needed to communicate effectively with prospects and customers
- Standardised email templates and call scripts to guide customer and lead follow-up
