What We're Looking For

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience

Technical Knowledge:

• Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping software, including Xero, MYOB, QBO, and Receipt Bank
• Clear understanding of business tax obligations, including GST, PAYG withholding, Payroll Tax, Superannuation Guarantee, and Return to Work
• Solid understanding of payroll obligations, including payroll processing, employee entitlements, and redundancies
• Working knowledge of bookkeeping processes and business reporting requirements

Your Key Responsibilities

• Process client bookkeeping and perform general maintenance of accounting balances
• Deliver agreed services to a defined set of clients with clear deliverables and deadlines
• Adhere to policies and procedures defined by the Bookkeeping Management Team
• Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance service provided to clients
