The main purpose of the job is to facilitate and operate heavy equipment and farm machineries like tractor, dump truck and other heavy and agricultural equipment which will support the farm development activities, earth moving projects, and agricultural activities like land preparation and tractor driving. Also, to conduct basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for the heavy equipment and farm machineries.

  • Operate and control heavy equipment such as dump truck, farm tractor, farm machineries, and other farm equipment and machineries.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment conditions to ensure safety and efficiency of operation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Operate tractors to plow, till, plant, and harvest crops.
  • Collaborate with farm management to implement best practices in crop management.
  • Transport materials such as soil, fertilizer, and seeds to designated areas on the farm.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food safety and quality control.
  • Maintain and inspect tractor equipment for proper functioning and perform minor repairs when necessary.
  • Follow farm schedules and guidelines to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Operate and maintain various farm machinery, including tractors, seeders, and harvesters, to assist with planting, cultivation, and harvesting.
  • Document and report any issues or irregularities observed during processing.
