Client A law firm that represents medical providers in obtaining proper reimbursement from health insurance carriers. We are looking for a legal or medical administrative assistant that can review medical records and EOBs, compile documents for review, and enter file information into our case management system. Experience working in the realm of medical billing and revenue cycle or internally for a health insurance company would be preferable in a candidate's ability to succeed in this role. An ability to work with and utilize our case management system and a high level of communicativeness is essential. Role Overview We are seeking a Software Developer to support the maintenance and enhancement of our custom case management system. This role focuses on problem‑solving, developing creative solutions to operational requests, and deploying new technologies efficiently. You will help manage an overflow of requests, oversee deployed automations and AI integrations, resolve reported issues, and drive forward the efficiencies our team relies upon to handle increasing work volume. Key Responsibilities Maintain, optimize, and enhance our custom case management system. Write, test, and maintain clean, reusable code in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Develop and deploy automations using Python and AI APIs to improve operational efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems while supporting end users in identifying root causes. Collaborate with operations and leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions. Implement and manage system updates and third‑party API integrations. Provide documentation and ongoing support for newly developed features and automations. Must‑Have Skills Minimum 3 years of experience in software development. Junior‑level, with the ability to independently execute assigned tasks while working collaboratively in a team setting. Languages: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Frameworks/Tools: RESTful API development. Database: MySQL. Other Skills: Critical thinking, problem‑solving, adaptability. Team & Collaboration They will work closely with the Lead Programmer, junior programmers, and COO while engaging extensively with non‑technical team members. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential, as this role bridges technical execution with operational needs.
