JOB DESCRIPTION

A mobile app developer designs, builds, tests, and maintains applications for mobile devices like smartphones and tablets, working on platforms such as iOS and Android. Key responsibilities include writing and optimizing code, developing features and user interfaces, debugging issues, and collaborating with designers and product managers to create a seamless user experience.

Core responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications:

Translate product requirements and mockups into functional mobile apps, creating user interfaces and features with precision.

  • Code and debug:

Write code for specific platforms (like iOS and Android) or using cross-platform frameworks, and troubleshoot and fix bugs and performance problems.

  • Test and optimize:

Conduct unit and integration tests to ensure the application runs smoothly and is optimized for performance, speed, and battery usage.

  • Collaborate with teams:

Work with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver a complete and functional product.

  • Maintain and update apps:

Monitor app performance after launch and release updates with new features or fixes to keep the application relevant.

  • Develop APIs:

Create and develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality.

  • Programming languages: Proficiency in languages relevant to mobile development, such as Flutter, Dart Programming Language, or JavaScript for frameworks like Flutter .
  • Mobile platforms: Experience with specific mobile operating systems like iOS and Android.
