JOB ROLE/SUMMARY

The Mobile and Web Developer is responsible for the creation of mobile applications while possessing the capability to contribute to web development projects. This role demands a strong foundation in mobile development, creative problem-solving, and adaptability to diverse platforms.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary:

  • Mobile Application Development:Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications, ensuring they meet performance, user experience, and functionality criteria.
  • Web Development:Contribute to web development projects when required, with proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Front-End Development:Develop user interfaces for mobile and website applications with responsive design.
  • Back-End Development:Build server-side logic, APIs, and databases to support mobile app functionality.
  • Cross-Platform Development:Create mobile apps for various platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance.
  • Database Management:Manage databases for mobile apps and web projects, including data modeling and optimization.
  • Security and Compliance:Implement security measures to safeguard mobile apps and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Testing and Debugging:Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging of mobile apps and web projects to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including teachers, content creators, and other personnel, to deliver projects on schedule.
  • Project Reporting: Provide project updates, timelines, and resource requirements to team leads and project managers.
  • Others: Performs other related duties as assigned by the EdITH Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in mobile application development for both Android and iOS.
  • Familiarity with web development, including front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Having a portfolio is a plus.
  • Willing to work 5days onsite

Skills:

  • Knowledge of mobile platform-specific development (e.g., Android Studio and Xcode).
  • Familiarity with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks.
  • Front-end and back-end development skills, including server-side programming and database management.
  • Version control proficiency with Git.
  • Security practices for mobile and web applications.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
