Accounting and Tax Manager

We are looking for an Accounting and Tax Manager for a retail hardware company to be assigned in Pasig City.

The role will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounting and tax department. This includes mentoring and coaching staff to ensure alignment and adherence to company and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and present financial statements and reports to the management.
  • Ensure tax and regulatory compliance and address BIR-related concerns as deemed necessary.
  • Provide high-level recommendations, financial forecasting, and develop strategies to support and optimize fiscal efficiency
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders such as auditors, government agencies, financial institutions, and others to maintain strong relationships with the company.
  • Take ownership of the special projects assigned by the management and senior leaders.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A Certified Public Accountant
  • With at least five years of work experience in Accounting/Finance, in a leadership capacity
  • With strong knowledge in accounting standards, tax and regulatory compliance, and the latest trends in financial management
  • Must be willing to work on-site (flexible shift schedule, compressed work week)
