Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares monthly Financial Statements (Balance Sheet / P&L) and related reports accurately and on time.
  • Ensures proper and timely recording of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses in line with accounting standards.
  • Prepares monthly schedules of expenses, accrued expenses, and other payables.
  • Performs account reconciliations for balance sheet and expense accounts.
  • Handles payroll preparation, government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and withholding taxes.
  • Ensures timely and accurate filing of BIR returns (1601C, 1601EQ, 2550M/Q, etc.) and annual reporting requirements including BIR Form 2316.
  • Supervises and reviews the work of the general accounting team to ensure adherence to accounting policies.
  • Assists in audits, monthly PL analysis, and process improvements for better internal controls.
  • Coordinates with other departments and external auditors/government agencies for required data and documents.
  • Maintains accurate and organized financial and payroll records.
  • Ensures compliance with accounting, taxation, and labor-related regulations.

Accounting Officer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an Accounting Officer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, statutory deductions, and BIR compliance.
  • Familiar with government forms and processes, including BIR Form 2316.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and administration skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
