As a Mortgage Processing Assistant, you'll work closely with Australian mortgage brokers and clients to ensure smooth and accurate loan processing. You'll be handling end-to-end administrative tasks and ensuring compliance with lender requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare mortgage applications for submission to Australian lenders
  • Liaise with brokers, clients, and lenders to follow up on outstanding requirements
  • Verify supporting documents such as income statements, identification, and bank statements
  • Perform data entry into CRM and lender platforms (ApplyOnline, NextGen, etc.)
  • Track application progress and update brokers on loan status
  • Ensure compliance with Australian lending regulations and policies
  • Provide general admin support to the mortgage team
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in Australian mortgage processing/loan administration
  • Strong understanding of Australian mortgage products, compliance, and lender requirements
  • Experience with mortgage CRM systems (e.g., Mercury, ApplyOnline, Flex) preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Great communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal) required; IELTS 7.0 or equivalent preferred
