The Brand Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end strategy, development, and performance of Marcelo's Ice Cream. Your mission is to build Marcelo's into a recognized and loved brand in the Philippines and establish a strong foundation for successful international expansion. You will develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, manage the P&L, lead a team, and drive growth across all channels.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Brand Strategy & Positioning: Define and evolve the brand's vision, mission, target audience, and unique value proposition. Ensure all marketing and product efforts are on-brand.
- P&L Management: Own the brand's financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and marketing budgets. Make data-driven decisions to optimize spend and ROI.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) & Launch: Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new product launches and entry into new geographic markets (both domestic and international).
- Marketing Campaigns: Lead the creation and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns (Digital, Social Media, PR, ATL/BTL) to build brand awareness and drive sales.
- Channel & Market Development: Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with key distribution channels (e.g., modern trade, convenience stores, specialty retailers, food service, e-commerce). Develop market-specific strategies for expansion.
- Consumer Insights & Market Research: Champion the voice of the consumer. Lead market research, competitive analysis, and consumer trend analysis to identify new opportunities and inform strategy.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with Sales, R&D, Production (Toll Manufacturing Operations), and Supply Chain teams to ensure brand goals are met from concept to consumer.
- Team Leadership: Hire, develop, and mentor a high-performing marketing team to support the brand's ambitious growth objectives. 9. Budgeting: Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of brand management experience, preferably in FMCG, food, or beverage industries.
- Proven experience in building and growing brands, including launching new products and entering new markets.
- Demonstrable experience managing a P&L and a multi-million peso marketing budget.
- Experience in both traditional and digital marketing strategies.
- Experience working in an international or export-oriented business is highly desirable.
