
Real Estate and Construction Business Development Manager

POSITION SPECIFICS
Day-to-day Responsibility
*Lead Generation & Market Strategy:
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and prospect qualification to identify and source new construction opportunities. Collaborate with estimators, preconstruction, and operations to align leads with organizational capabilities
*Pipeline & Proposal Coordination :
Develop and manage a structured sales pipeline and assist in preparing RFP/RFQ responses, presentations, and proposals in coordination with internal teams
*Relationship Building & Client Engagement :
Nurture relationships with decision-makers at owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors. Support ongoing communication to create a long-term partner network
*Administrative & Executive Support :
Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and organize travel and logistics as needed. Maintain CRM data and follow up on pipeline actions. Provide general administrative assistance to the Business Development and Executives
*Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with marketing, estimating, product, and operations teams to develop campaigns, track KPIs, and help refine BD processes and tools
MUST HAVES:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, BD support—ideally in construction
• Experience coordinating proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and BD calendars
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace; CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, ACU, Procore) experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
• Professional demeanor with discretion and reliability in executive-level support
