Purpose of the Role:

The Data Analyst supports the Demand & Supply Planning Department by transforming data from multiple systems into actionable insights that improve demand forecasting, inventory efficiency, and supplier performance. This role ensures all planning and decision-making are based on accurate, timely, and meaningful data analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Accuracy & Management

  2. Collect, validate, and clean data from ERP, WMS, and sales platform is to ensure consistency.

  3. Maintain SKU master data, supplier lead times, and historical sales records.

  4. Monitor and correct data discrepancies in collaboration with the Supply Chain Coordinator.

  5. Forecast & Supply Analysis

  6. Support the Demand Planner by preparing statistical analyses and historical trend summaries.

  7. Evaluate forecast accuracy and identify root causes of variance (MAPE, bias).

  8. Provide insights on seasonality, promotion impact, and product life cycle trends.

  9. Performance Dashboards & Reporting

Develop and maintain dashboards in Excel and Power BI for :

  • Forecast accuracy
  • Inventory turns and aging
  • Supplier delivery performance
  • Service Level (OTIF)

  • Generate weekly and monthly KPI reports for DSP and Management

  • Process Improvement & Automation

  • Automate recurring reports and improve data visualization for efficiency.

  • Recommend analytics-driven process improvements across the supply chain.

  • Support digital integration of data between ERP, WMS, and sales systems.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Provide analytical support during S&OP meetings and business reviews.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance for data consistency.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Key Deliverables:

  • Weekly KPI Dashboard (Forecast Accuracy, Service Level, Inventory Health)
  • Monthly Data Quality and Variance Report
  • Quarterly Analytics Improvement Projects (automation or visualization enhancements)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or Statistics.
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in data analysis or supply chain analytics.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot, Power Query, Macros).
  • Experience in Power BI / Tableau for data visualization.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of SQL or Python is an advantage.
