Front Desk Receptionist

Job Summary:
The Front Desk / Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting clients, processing payments, and assisting with inquiries. The role ensures accurate cash handling, proper documentation of transactions, and supports front office or store operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Front Desk / Reception Duties
- Welcome customers or visitors and provide assistance as needed.
- Handle phone calls, messages, bookings, and inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Ensure visitors are attended to promptly and courteously.
- Provide information on services, products, store policies, and promotions.
Cashiering & Sales Transactions
- Process customer payments through cash, credit, online, or other accepted modes.
- Issue receipts, invoices, and change accurately.
- Balance the cash register at the end of shift and prepare daily sales report.
- Ensure accurate encoding and recording of sales transactions.
- Safeguard company funds, payment receipts, and financial documents.
Customer Service
- Assist customers with product selection or service concerns.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with other departments for order concerns or customer needs.
- Promote products, upsell items, and support marketing activities when needed.
Administrative Support
- Maintain filing, inventory-related forms, and cashier records.
- Encode reports such as daily sales, cash logs, and foot traffic.
- Assist in monitoring store supplies and coordinate replenishments.
- Support other operational tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Senior High School Graduate or College Level/Graduate.
- Experience in cashiering, front desk, or customer service is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge in POS systems and MS Office is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, reliable, organized, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision.
