ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Logistics Customer Service Representative will be responsible for booking orders with carriers to the different internal clients. This person must maintain and upload customs documents when able and obtain in when the information is not complete. The CSR will be required to provide customer support all through the process from pickup to its delivery and will inform of any alterations affecting the freight, managing customer related issues. It's also responsible for order entry from the different order in the system when available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor assigned inboxes and dispatch boards to stay on top of tasks and updates.
  • Perform quality checks on jobs to identify and flag any discrepancies or errors.
  • Register all necessary load information into the system accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with carriers to confirm shipping hours, ensure freight readiness, and conduct daily follow-ups to track pickups, deliveries, job numbers, and PODs—ensuring smooth transportation without complications.
  • Handle order entry and execute transportation requests efficiently and cost-effectively, while maintaining a high level of service.
  • Manage customer issues and provide updates throughout the shipment process via email and other communication channels.
  • Verify documentation for accuracy and completeness; follow up on any missing or pending information.
  • Track loads, conduct invoice follow-ups, and keep customers informed of any updates or changes to their shipments.
  • Support other business functions as needed, including training, mentoring, and internal/customer-facing reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures, and follow up appropriately where required.

  • Familiarity with Logistics Operations
