Job Overview: Operations Assistant (CCTV Monitoring – Retail Stores)

The Operations Assistant is responsible for monitoring and reviewing CCTV footage across retail store locations to ensure store security, loss prevention, and compliance with operational standards. This role supports store operations by identifying theft, policy violations, and safety concerns, while coordinating closely with store management and operations teams. The position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage of retail stores to detect theft, suspicious behavior, policy violations, and safety hazards.
  • Conduct regular reviews of footage related to shrinkage, cash handling, employee compliance, and customer incidents.
  • Identify, document, and report incidents such as shoplifting, internal theft, safety issues, or operational non-compliance.
  • Coordinate with store supervisors, operations, and loss prevention teams for investigation and corrective action.
  • Maintain detailed incident reports, logs, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure CCTV systems are operational and report equipment issues or blind spots immediately.
  • Assist in investigations by retrieving and reviewing footage upon management request.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of surveillance materials and adhere to data privacy and company policies.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to security and retail operations.

Key Qualifications

  • College-level education in Criminology, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Experience in CCTV monitoring, loss prevention, retail operations, or security is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify unusual behavior or discrepancies.
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate incident reports.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CCTV or monitoring systems.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
