DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Planning & Coordination

  • Assist in researching market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.

  • Support in developing product concepts, features, and positioning strategies.

  • Help prepare product development timelines and track progress against deadlines.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, marketing, production, QA) to align project requirements.

2. Sample & Material Management

  • Request, track, and organize product samples and raw materials.

  • Ensure sample approvals are documented and communicated to relevant teams.

  • Assist in evaluating sample quality against specifications.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain product specification sheets, costing sheets, and development records.

  • Update product databases and ensure all versions are up to date.

  • Generate progress reports for management review.

4. Supplier & Vendor Coordination

  • Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding product requirements, changes, and timelines.

  • Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and approvals.

  • Assist in negotiating lead times, costs, and sample submissions.

5. Quality & Compliance Support

  • Help ensure products meet brand standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

6. Launch Preparation

  • Assist in finalizing packaging, labeling, and product information for launch.

  • Coordinate with marketing for product photoshoots, promotional materials, and product training content.

  • Ensure all launch deliverables are completed, and deadlines are met.

7. Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized digital and physical product development files.

  • Handle general administrative tasks related to product workflow

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Industrial Design, Product Development, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in product development, merchandising, marketing, or related field (entry-level applicants with strong internships also considered).

  • Knowledge of basic product lifecycle stages, from concept to launch.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, sourcing, or quality control is an advantage.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.

  • Basic understanding of product costing, materials, and specification sheets.

  • Knowledge of packaging development and labeling compliance is a plus.

Organizational & Coordination Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills for tracking samples, documents, and timelines.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and vendors.

  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Creative & Analytical Skills

  • Ability to think creatively in developing new product ideas or improving existing ones.

  • Analytical mindset for reviewing market trends and product performance data.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to Php20,000.00 per month
