Transport Specialist

The Transport Specialist is responsible for assisting the transport manager in traffic management, transport operations, and administrative support functions within South Station. This role ensures smooth traffic circulation, effective management of transport terminals, and compliance with parking and traffic policies. The position also supervises documentation, reporting, and coordination with internal teams, outsourced partners, transport organizations, and government agencies to ensure efficient and safe transport operations.

Transport Operations Management

• Supervise and provide recommendations on improvements to the traffic circulation system.
• Oversee the management of the South Station public transport terminal and ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead the implementation of pay parking systems and enforce compliance with no-parking zones.
• Monitor and address irregular activities of transport organizations to maintain order and safety.

Stakeholder Coordination & Liaison

• Act as the primary liaison with transport groups, government offices, and outsourced service providers.
• Ensure proper dissemination of traffic and transport policies, guidelines, and operational updates.
• Foster positive working relationships with stakeholders to support smooth transport operations.

Administrative & Documentation

• Ensure accurate preparation of Minutes of Meetings, Statements of Account (SOA), and Requests for Payment (RPF).
• Review and consolidate reports, including traffic accident reports, turnover reports, and other operational updates.
• Oversee filing, documentation, and safekeeping of all transport-related records.

Business Development & Marketing

• Develop and implement marketing initiatives for the South Station terminal business.
• Recommend strategies to maximize revenue opportunities from transport and parking operations.
• Assess market trends and provide recommendations to improve terminal utilization and profitability.

Resource & Team Management

• Supervise inventory of supplies and ensure maintenance of transport division equipment.
• Oversee scheduling, workflow, and support for the transportation team.
• Guide and provide direction to Traffic Officers, Enforcers, and other staff under the transport unit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• College Graduate preferably Marketing / Any business Course from a reputable school or any related Traffic / Transport Management courses.
• Must have at least 3 to 5 years work experience.
• Traffic/Transport Industry work experience will be an advantage.
