Job summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) drives business growth, strengthens client relationships, and maximizes profitability. Working closely with the General Manager, Chief Commercial Officer, and cross-functional teams, the BDM ensures alignment with the company's strategic goals and commercial objectives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company's growth strategies. Lead contract negotiations to secure profitable, long-term deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and satisfaction is consistently achieved.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and leadership to ensure service delivery excellence and alignment with commercial goals.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance against set targets. Prepare business reports and utilize KPIs to measure client acquisition, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute all functions and responsibilities as assigned by the company with professionalism and commitment.
  • Adhere to company policies and directives issued by authorized representatives.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company affairs and client information.
  • Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned, either in writing or verbally, by any company representative.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in freight forwarding sales, preferably within a multinational company.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent presentation and negotiation capabilities.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to craft tailored solutions for clients.
  • Results-driven and highly organized, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting; experience with CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for client engagements, presentations, and industry events.
  • Displays professionalism, leadership, and integrity in all business interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php45,000.00 per month
