Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead nursing services in alignment with the hospital's mission, vision, and core values.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic and operational plans for nursing services.
  • Oversee nursing budget planning, resource allocation, and staffing requirements.
  • Conduct technical interviews and collaborate with HR for nursing recruitment and placement.
  • Establish, codify, and enforce nursing care policies and procedures.
  • Approve patient care plans and ensure standards of care are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Drive applied research initiatives to innovate nursing practices and patient care solutions.
  • Monitor performance, prepare progress reports, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Mentor and develop nurse leaders to promote accountability and shared leadership.
  • Oversee professional development, succession planning, and training programs.
  • Manage patient complaints and concerns from initial receipt to resolution with professionalism and compassion.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
  • Actively participate in accreditation processes, committees, task forces, and quality audits.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required)
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field (required)
  • Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Membership in an accredited professional nursing organization

Training:

  • Leadership and Management Training

  • Training in Discipline and Discharge Process
