We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the trade marketing initiatives of our distribution company. The CMO will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to strengthen brand presence, drive product distribution, and maximize sales opportunities. This role requires strong leadership, innovative thinking, and expertise in trade marketing within the FMCG or distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to support sales and distribution goals
  • Oversee brand positioning, promotional activities, and merchandising plans
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to guide strategies
  • Manage and mentor the marketing team to achieve performance targets
  • Collaborate with the sales and distribution teams to align marketing with business objectives
  • Establish partnerships and promotional programs to enhance market visibility
  • Monitor ROI of campaigns and optimize strategies for maximum effectiveness
  • Represent the company in marketing negotiations and external engagements

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • FMCG, retail, or distribution
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FMCG, retail, or distribution industry is required
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of senior marketing leadership experience is required for this CMO role
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and drive decisions
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools, trade promotions, and brand management
  • Willing to commit long-term and help drive company growth
