Your Role:
As a
Client Service Specialist
, you will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client and employee inquiries via phone, email, chat, and SMS, delivering timely and accurate responses.
- Manage new client onboarding by entering data, conducting system audits, and supporting renewal processes to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Assist with small group quoting by gathering census/renewal data, preparing proposals, and partnering with Client Success Managers for final review.
- Support open enrollment by preparing materials, assisting with system setup, and guiding employees through benefit options and eligibility.
- Maintain comprehensive service records using CRM and case tracking tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Employee Navigator.
- Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve client issues in line with SLA requirements.
- Provide consistent updates on open cases, client tasks, and upcoming deliverables to ensure service excellence.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- 2–4 years of experience in employee benefits, client service, or insurance brokerage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software.
- Ability to analyze information and provide actionable insights for clients.
- Project management skills (beneficial but not required).
- Comfortable handling service requests, quoting, onboarding, and compliance workflows.
- Health & Life license or willingness to obtain one.
