In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple FOOD retail stores within a designated geographic area, ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day management. As an Area Operations Officer, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's strategic goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences across your region.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide leadership and direction to teams within your assigned area of responsibility
  • Monitor and analyze store performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement actionable strategies
  • Coordinate and oversee store-level operations, including inventory management, staffing, and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Lead team members in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer-centricity
  • Identify and develop talent within your team, providing coaching and training to support their professional growth

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a FOOD retail operations management role, preferably within the consumer food industry
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering strong business results
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with retail best practices, including inventory management, customer service, and compliance
