About the role

AMA Computer College Inc. is seeking a talented Project Engineer to join their team in Ortigas, Pasig City. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the PICAR Development project, a dynamic and challenging endeavor within the civil/structural engineering domain. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's strategic objectives while working in an engaging and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of various engineering tasks for the PICAR Development project
  2. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project management and timely delivery
  3. Providing technical expertise and guidance to support the design, construction, and quality assurance processes
  4. Identifying and resolving engineering challenges to maintain project progress and adherence to specifications
  5. Conducting site inspections, monitoring project milestones, and reporting on project status to stakeholders
  6. Participating in the review and approval of engineering drawings, documents, and other project-related materials
  7. Fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within the project environment

What we're looking for

  1. A degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
  2. At least 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role, preferably within the construction or real estate industry
  3. Proficiency in project management principles, construction methods, and engineering software applications
  4. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  5. Ability to interpret and apply relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  6. Familiarity with contract management, risk assessment, and quality control processes
  7. A proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach to project delivery
