About the role

As the Equipment-in-charge, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's equipment and machinery. Based in Cebu Central Visayas, this full-time position will involve overseeing the maintenance, repair, and procurement of all equipment used on construction sites, ensuring maximum productivity and safety.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all equipment and machinery
  • Coordinate with the operations team to schedule equipment usage and ensure timely availability
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and oversee repair and maintenance work
  • Manage the procurement of new equipment and replacement parts, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement
  • Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repair history
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Provide training and support to equipment operators to promote safe and efficient use
  • Collaborate with the wider construction team to identify opportunities for process improvements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar equipment management role within the construction industry
  • Thorough knowledge of construction equipment, including their operation, maintenance, and repair
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Proficient in the use of equipment management software and other relevant technology
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to promoting a safe working environment and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Skilled in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Experience in managing reports and inventory
