Assistant to the Chief Accountant

Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines SERVE DIAGNOSTICA Full time ₱900,000 - ₱1,200,000 per year
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Supervise daily accounting operations such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor and verify accounting entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Assist in the coordination of external audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Help ensure tax compliance and coordinate the preparation of tax filings and returns.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of accounting systems and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant or CFO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred but not required
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
