Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:Supervise, coordinate, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
  • Maintenance & Repair:Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, conduct routine checks, and oversee repairs for depot equipment and assets to ensure reliability.
  • Technical Expertise:Provide technical guidance and problem-solving for complex engineering issues, ensuring equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
  • Safety & Compliance:Ensure the depot environment is safe, and all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Operational Support:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering activities align with overall depot operations and to address operational issues promptly.
  • Performance Monitoring:Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering and maintenance functions, and report on progress to management.
  • Continuous Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Resource Management:Manage resources like manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure cost-effective and efficient execution of assigned tasks.
