JOB DESCRIPTION: Commercial Finance Manager

Location: Taguig City (Full Onsite)

About the Role

Our client, a leading organization based in Taguig City, is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to drive financial strategy, business unit performance, and profitability initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong commercial mindset, experience in pricing and business partnering, and the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Unit Controlling

• Develop and maintain robust financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning at the SBU level.
• Conduct detailed profitability and ROI analysis for projects, pricing, and sales initiatives.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor and control business unit costs to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Lead revenue management and pricing strategy development to optimize revenue and market share.
• Support strategic planning, business development, and M&A activities.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement financial best practices and improve operational processes.

Commercial Support

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to provide financial guidance in pricing, contracts, and business growth opportunities.
• Conduct financial analysis for new product launches and marketing initiatives.
• Develop business cases for new investments and ensure strong commercial governance.
• Manage order fulfillment performance, drive cost-efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
• Provide insights for stock management, reducing slow-moving and obsolete inventory.

Key Result Areas

• Support achievement of sales growth targets with accurate financial reporting and risk analysis.
• Protect margins through effective pricing and policy adherence.
• Improve forecast accuracy by identifying and addressing root causes of variance.
• Encourage financial participation in customer engagement and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• MBA or relevant professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or commercial finance, ideally in the construction, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
• Proven background in pricing, commercial contracts, financial forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage.
• Proficient in financial modeling, Excel/BI tools, and management reporting.
