JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring that all employees receive quality patient care in accordance with professional and company standards. Assists in the company's compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess employees' nursing care needs, provide necessary first aid treatment and medications, and observe infection control precautions. Evaluate employees returning to work for their ability to perform job duties.
- Conduct daily inspections of work areas to ensure employee safety. Report health hazards to the HR Manager and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Provide health education to employees to manage illnesses and prevent recurrence, fostering a healthy and productive work environment.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all regulatory compliance related to Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS).
- Submit incident reports detailing employee conditions and actions taken before the end of the shift to the employee's Immediate Supervisor.
- Interpret and provide insights on employees' Annual Physical Exam (APE) results and applicants' pre-employment medical assessments.
- Prepare and submit medical status reports and other utilization reports.
- Collaborate with the Benefits Department in preparing Payment Request Forms for invoices related to HMO and health insurance.
- Develop and implement programs that promote health, wellness, safety, and illness prevention throughout the year.
- Ensure the availability of necessary medicines and medical supplies in the clinic.
- Participate in compliance activities required by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for OSHA and OHNAP.
- Engage in training, development programs, and other company activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Nursing and a Registered Nurse (RN).
- At least 1 year of experience in practice nursing or primary healthcare, preferably in a BPO setting.
- Background in DOLE-OSH and DOLE-OHNAP is required.
