Job Summary:

The Audit Staff is responsible for performing regular audits and financial reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of the company's financial records and operational processes. The role supports the Audit Supervisor or Audit Manager in identifying discrepancies, risks, and areas for improvement across store and office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular store and head office audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review sales reports, expense records, inventory movements, and cash handling processes.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions and supporting documents.
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating internal controls and recommend improvements.
  • Identify discrepancies, shortages, and policy violations, and prepare corresponding audit findings.
  • Conduct spot audits and surprise cash counts as assigned.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with accounting, operations, and HR teams regarding audit findings and corrective actions.
  • Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of all audit reports and records.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Audit Supervisor or Management.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Finance, or any related course.
  • With 1–2 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal control systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can work with minimal supervision and handle field assignments when needed.
  • Willing to be assigned in Tarlac City.
