Product Innovation and Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute business model innovation and new growth initiatives designed to identify and deliver portfolio of new, innovative and relevant opportunities
  • Identify market and consumer trends to spot opportunities for new growth (Jobs to be Done) opportunities through extensive market research, in sighting and analysis
  • Shape new ideas into potential business models
  • Test to validate and refine the models through market facing experiments
  • Operationalize fully scalable business models
  • Drive a culture of new growth innovation throughout organization
  • Prepare and execute detailed business plan/s and establishes clear project goals and objectives to complete the end-to-end innovation / business development process
  • Obtains mid and senior level management approval of the project and documents the same
  • Identifies the project's risks and formulates mitigation strategies and detailed action plans
  • Builds strong, lasting, and strategic relationships to key stakeholders like National Government Agencies, Local Government Units, Private Institutions and other key entities that are essential to the success of a project
  • Coordinates and manages external and internal project communications
  • Ensures that all projects are delivered with full compliance to all policies, procedures and governance frameworks
  • Manages the safekeeping of all relevant technical/financial/legal documents about the project and ensures proper turnover of the same to the operating/takeover team upon successful project closure.
  • Performs other functions and acts as a corporate resource as the business requires Performs other functions that may be assigned as needed such as any NBD projects.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's/College Degree in any Engineering Course (Preferably Licensed)
  • Has prior experience in LGU Stakeholder Management
  • Project management, marketing, sales, and business development & operationalization experience will be required. Experience in financial management will be helpful but not essential.
  • Must be highly motivated, goal oriented, to achieve performance objectives
  • Analytical with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and customer orientation
  • Able to think out of the box
