Job Overview:

As a Senior Product Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch. Your expertise in product development, backed by a strong design background and solid technical skills, will be needed to enable bridging creativity with functionality seamlessly.

In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, market-ready, and high-quality products aligned with the company's strategy and brand vision. You will be responsible for driving the development process, ensuring excellence in design execution, technical feasibility, and overall product success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the product development process from ideation, design, prototyping, testing, to final production.
  • Translate market insights, consumer trends, and business objectives into innovative product concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, coordinators and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee technical specifications, product quality, and compliance with safety/industry standards.
  • Drive design reviews and provide creative direction aligned with brand identity.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring on-time and high-quality product launches.
  • Mentor and guide junior team member to build a strong, innovative team.
  • Partner with marketing and E-comm to align product strategy with business goals.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve product development processes for efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in product development, with at least 3 years in a senior/leadership role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both design creativity and technical execution.
  • Proficiency in design and technical tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping software).
  • In-depth knowledge of materials, production techniques, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills, with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance creativity, cost, and market demands.
