Job Description: Business & Quality Assurance Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Analysis

· Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and research.

· Translate business needs into clear and concise functional and technical specifications.

· Collaborate with project managers, developers, and designers to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

· Develop process flows, use cases, and user stories to support development and testing efforts.

· Assist in business process improvements by identifying gaps and recommending system or process enhancements.

· Participate in requirement validation sessions and manage requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance

· Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.

· Execute manual and automated testing to ensure system functionality, performance, and usability.

· Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.

· Perform regression testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system testing.

· Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements before release.

· Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess product performance and ensure continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Documentation

· Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team to ensure clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.

· Provide training and support to end-users during system rollouts and upgrades.

· Maintain comprehensive documentation for requirements, test results, and project deliverables.

· Assist in defining quality metrics and KPIs to measure the success of projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

· Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst within an IT company.

· Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC).

· Proven track record in requirement gathering, documentation, and software testing.

· Proficiency in requirement management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps).

· Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent).

· Knowledge of SQL for data validation and testing.

· Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) is a plus.

· Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.

· Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
