Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology or Business Administration
  • Computer proficient using MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Culturally adaptable and team-oriented
  • Proficient in learning management and computer training systems
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Dependable, willing to learn, and committed to integrity

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage seafarer performance reports in the Crewing System
  • Enroll and assign courses via the Learning Management System
  • Coordinate training schedules with centers and manning agencies
  • Assist in event logistics (venue, travel, accommodation, meals)
  • Prepare training materials and track giveaway inventory
  • Take minutes during competency interviews
  • Encode monthly training and assessment summaries
  • Generate statistical reports on retention and promotion
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Department Head

Job Type: OJT (On the job training)
