Molding Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of injection molding experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong technical knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, resins, and processing parameters.
• Experience with scientific molding principles and troubleshooting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

• Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day injection molding operations including setup, processing, troubleshooting, and maintenance coordination.
• Manage and develop a team of molding technicians, operators, and supervisors to achieve production goals.
• Implement and maintain best practices in molding processes to maximize efficiency, reduce scrap, and ensure consistent product quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze production data, and recommend process improvements.
• Manage mold inventory, tooling changes, and preventive maintenance schedules.
