THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Utilize and comply with all relevant NRI ANZ methodologies, standards, processes & procedures.
  • Maintain current levels of documentation as per contractual obligations.
  • Meet customers SLAs.
  • Achieve project and support deliverables.
  • Ensure all interactions with Customers, NRI and 3rd parties are supportive and professional.

Desired Experience

  • 5+ years' experience as a Data Engineer in a Managed Service environment or large government agency
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting core Microsoft data services including Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL (Server/DB).
  • Power BI experience, including use of Data Gateway for live/on premises refresh and report delivery.
  • Practical experience with security and governance tools such as Azure Key Vault and Microsoft Purview.
  • Experience building and maintaining serverless or event-driven integrations using Azure Functions.
  • Competence with monitoring and observability tooling, e.g., Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, to maintain platform health and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong SQL skills for ETL/ELT and performance tuning.
  • Understanding of data modelling principles & experience designing data architectures
  • Ability to analyse complex problems, troubleshoot issues, & develop effective solutions
  • Strong communication & collaboration skills necessary for working with various stakeholders
