Work Arrangements

  • Contract Type: Retainer, Part Time (20 hours per week)
  • Kindred Clinic Branch: Hybrid (Virtual Consults + In-Clinic Consults)
  • Reports to: Medical Affairs Department

As a Kindred Psychologist, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality, non-judgmental psychological care while fostering trust and empowerment among our patients. This role demands not only clinical expertise but also a deep sense of empathy and emotional intelligence, ensuring every patient interaction and the provision of mental health service is meaningful and supportive.

Key Responsibilities/Priority Framework

Mission 1: Deliver Compassionate, Patient-Centered Care

  • Conduct psychological assessments, deliver counseling services, and facilitate therapy sessions using appropriate and effective therapeutic approaches to help clients/patients address their presenting concerns.
  • Each therapy session will be scheduled for 45 minutes, with a maximum allowable extension of up to 1 hour. Should a session conclude earlier than the scheduled time, it is considered acceptable as long as the client's needs and primary concerns have been adequately addressed during the session.
  • Maintain clear and accurate notes using Kindred's EMR system.
  • Ensure a calm, supportive, and confidential environment during sessions.
  • Refer cases for family/group therapy when needed
  • Coordinate any referral with the Kindred clinic team.

Mission 2: Enable Holistic, Collaborative Healthcare

  • Work closely with psychiatrists, fellow psychologists, and Kindred's clinical teams to co-manage care plans.
  • Represent Kindred in affiliate forums or on-site activities, when applicable.
  • Actively promote mental wellness as part of Kindred's mission to deliver whole-woman care.

Mission 3: Uphold Professional Excellence & Patient Experience

  • Stay current with clinical standards, new practices, and regulatory updates.
  • Issue consultation summaries, certificates, and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Proactively identify and help resolve process issues that impact patient care or experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Psychology (or eligible under PRC's Grandfather Clause for RPsy).
  • Experience: PRC-Registered Psychologist with 3-4 years of clinical experience, preferably in women's health or holistic care.
  • Patient-Centric Approach: A natural ability to empathize with patients, think from their perspective, and advocate for their needs.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Open to working alongside diverse healthcare professionals to achieve holistic health outcomes.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to remain composed, compassionate, and supportive in challenging situations.
  • Proactive Ownership & Accountability: A solution-oriented mindset, with the confidence to identify and address gaps in care delivery.
