About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Southern Arms Corporation as an Operations Manager based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing and logistics functions, ensuring efficient and effective processes that support the overall success of the business. This is a full-time, on-site role.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing operational strategies to drive productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency
  2. Managing and coordinating activities across various departments, including production, supply chain, and warehousing
  3. Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
  4. Overseeing the implementation of process improvements and innovative solutions
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise workflows and resolve operational issues
  6. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  7. Leading, motivating, and developing a team of operational staff

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior operations or manufacturing management role
  2. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
  4. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  6. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
