Middleware Administrator -Kafka, IBM MQ, RH AMQ & IBM APIC

Desired Competencies

● 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Middleware Administration, specifically with Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) or Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).

● Expert-level administration experience with Apache Kafka (or equivalent distributions like IBM Event Streams/RedHat AMQ Streams).

● Strong administration experience with IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ) on Linux/UNIX and/or z/OS.

● Practical experience with RedHat AMQ (Broker/Interconnect).

● Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing IBM API Connect (APIC).

● Proficiency in Linux/UNIX operating systems and shell scripting (Bash, Python).

● Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Git, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins/GitLab).

● Familiarity with network concepts (TCP/IP, Load Balancing, DNS, Firewalls) related to middleware connectivity.

● Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
