Overview:
We are looking for a Chat Support Representative to provide excellent customer service through online chat channels. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing. This role is responsible for assisting customers with inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive overall experience.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via live chat, email, or messaging platforms.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, or policies.
- Handle customer complaints or issues efficiently, escalating complex concerns when necessary.
- Maintain customer records and update information in the CRM system.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
- Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions or alternatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Meet performance metrics such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction scores.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in customer support, preferably in a chat-based environment
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with computers, web browsers, and chat software tools.
- A customer-first attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Zendesk, HubSpot, Freshdesk).
Basic knowledge of product troubleshooting or technical support.
- Familiarity with e-commerce or SaaS environments.
