About the role

Equicom Solutions Inc. is seeking a talented Jr Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our financial accounting and reporting operations, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
  • Maintaining accurate accounting records and addressing any discrepancies
  • Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts and other financial analyses
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the AP/AR with a strong background in Financial Report (FS) preparation industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, procedures and best practices
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
