Your Role:

A Financial Accountant is expected to do:

• Manage and be responsible for the production of the Group's monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheet to audit standard.
• Prepare and review monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets for the Group per the agreed month end timetable
• Assist with preparing Financial presentations for monthly management meetings for the Director's and Leadership team
• Reconcile and present all balance sheet accounts for review by the Group Financial Controller monthly
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements across Australia and New Zealand for review by the Group Financial Controller
• Assist the Group Financial Controller with Annual Audit preparation and data sample collection as required by the external auditors.
• Be the first point of contact for daily queries from the business or from within the team (when required).
• Assist to develop and drive process improvement strategies within finance and across the business
• Assist with detailed analysis of the business projects and business performance when required.
• Ad hoc projects as directed by the Group Financial Controller or the Senior Financial Accountant

What You Need:

• Experience in working in the
  Accounting / Finance industry
• Must be willing to work
  Hybrid
  in Global One, Quezon City (Eastwood City) doing Dayshift
• Tertiary
  qualifications in
  Accounting
  or
  Finance
  is preferable.
• CA
  or
  CPA
  qualified or currently completing CA or CPA is desired

Preferred skills/expertise:

• Demonstrates high level of understanding in all areas of the finance and accounting function
• Conducts financial analysis and reporting under instruction from senior manager
• Provides support and advise to all company staff in relation to branch / business unit budgets, expenses and entitlements
• Demonstrates expertise in calculation and processing of company commission and bonus structure
• Demonstrates expertise in the use of company financial management software
• Demonstrates a strong level of taxation, compliance and regulatory competence
