Job Summary

Conduent is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Accountant to support our finance operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within a global business services company. You'll assist in processing high volumes of financial transactions, reconciling payments, and maintaining accurate records across various systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs reconciliation, analysis and justification of accounts
  • Participates in creating and implementing systems for general accounting
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger
  • Determines accuracy of account balances, financial postings and calculations and investigates and resolves any discrepancies
  • Ensures proper application of company financial policies and procedures for assigned business units
  • Other duties as assigned

Detailed Scope of Work

  • Reporting & Preparation of Reconciliations and month-end closing reports related to Inventory

    • Cost Accounting experience (from manufacturing/publishing industry)

    • Sales Accounting
  • Able to complete multiple reconciliation tasks in short timeline during month-end
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1+ years of experience in Cost Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience in Reconciliation if no experience in Cost Accounting
  • System : Blackline/ARCS for Reconciliation, Oracle ERP
Skills & Competencies
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Willing to work extended hours during critical month-end close days
  • Willing to work in a shifting schedule
  • Can work well under pressure and can handle multiple deadlines and deliverables
  • CPA is an advantage but not required

-Must be willing to work on-site and on the night shift
