Lead Full Stack Engineer Supervisory

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to lead and scale an engineering team responsible for the ongoing development and evolution of a sophisticated data driven platform used by marketing professionals. This role combines hands on technical leadership with people management, requiring deep expertise across frontend and backend technologies. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, guide engineering standards, and deliver high impact solutions across the full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of full stack engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, performance guidance, and code reviews

Design and implement robust full stack solutions using React TypeScript and Mantine on the frontend

Develop and maintain Python backend services using frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI

Design and integrate GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client on the frontend and Python based GraphQL servers on the backend

Drive technical decision making while aligning platform architecture with business objectives and constraints

Define and enforce best practices for code quality testing security and deployment across the stack

Collaborate closely with product management and UI UX teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Design and implement scalable data models and APIs to support complex business logic

Optimize application performance reliability and availability across multiple applications

Champion type safety maintainability and code reusability across frontend and backend systems

Participate in the full software development lifecycle from planning and design through deployment and optimization

Qualifications

At least 5 years of full stack development experience with a minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership or supervisory role

Expert level proficiency in React TypeScript and modern JavaScript practices

Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI

Experience with SQL databases ORM technologies such as SQLAlchemy and GraphQL using Apollo Client and Python based servers

Hands on experience with UI component libraries particularly Mantine or similar

Experience managing complex forms in React applications

Strong understanding of state management patterns testing frameworks and deployment strategies

Experience with build systems module bundlers and CI CD pipelines

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for technical leadership documentation and cross functional collaboration

Proven ability to work effectively in Mac or Linux development environments

Demonstrated experience leading technical teams mentoring engineers and supporting career progression

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in advertising technology or marketing analytics platforms

Knowledge of budget management and financial data systems

Experience working with monorepos or multi application workspaces

Familiarity with data visualization libraries and techniques

Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices

Experience with real time data processing systems

Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations security controls and secure software design

Experience designing or maintaining systems aligned with ISO 27001 SOC 2 NIST or HIPAA frameworks

Contributions to open source projects or recognized technical communities

Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals system internals and first principles thinking

Demonstrated strategic thinking and architectural decision making capability

Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
