Position Overview
The HR Officer will play a critical role in supporting the organization's human resources functions with a focus on timekeeping, payroll administration, and end-to-end recruitment. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage HR processes in a fast-paced construction environment with multiple project sites.
Key ResponsibilitiesTimekeeping & Payroll
- Ensure accurate monitoring and validation of employee attendance, overtime, and leaves across all project sites.
- Consolidate and prepare timekeeping reports for payroll processing.
- Administer end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and company policies.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with Finance and Accounting for payroll disbursement and reporting.
Recruitment & Selection
- Handle full-cycle recruitment: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates for both office and project site positions.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet manpower needs.
- Partner with project managers and department heads to forecast staffing requirements.
- Conduct background checks, reference verification, and ensure smooth onboarding processes.
General HR Support
- Assist in employee relations, disciplinary actions, and resolution of workplace concerns.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Provide support in HR programs such as training, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) regulations and other statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or related industries.
- Strong background in timekeeping and payroll administration.
- Proven experience in high-volume recruitment and manpower deployment.
- Familiarity with labor laws, government benefits, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to the dynamic construction environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
- Compressed Time : Mon-Thu 8am to 7pm and Friday 8-5pm only
- Salary budget: 20,000-25,000
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
