Business Analyst Liquidity Reporting

Your new job The COO Finance department delivers Finance related services to its stakeholders, i.e. Group Finance, CFO's of countries and Wholesale Banking, Risk, Ta and Bank Treasury. These services encompass operations and change initiatives for accounting, reporting, utilities, data foundation and business advice services, including system, process, data and information management and analytics capabilities. The services are by design reliable, secure and in control. Change is delivered in accordance with the Finance strategy and implementation and decommissioning roadmap.

We are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) for the Tribe Statutory and Regulatory Reporting in the product area of Liquidity Reporting (AVP/Senior Associate). This Tribe delivers on time, transparent and standardized solutions according to the standards of the eternal local and central regulators and auditors meeting our minimum control requirements.

The BA reports to the Product Lead Liquidity Reporting.

As BA you work in a squad with around 10-15 colleagues from different areas of epertise and location (NL, IN, PH). Together with your squad members you do everything to realize the committed deliverables of the squad while keeping the application and services (BAU) stable and reliable. Work is done in close cooperation with stakeholders and other Tribes.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an energetic and driven epert with strong analytical capabilities who uses state of the art methods and techniques for business analysis to support the services provided under the product Liquidity Reporting. With the reporting system landscape constantly changing, you will bring eperience on reporting system migrations and related Finance activities. You have an integral, domain eceeding knowledge of Banking Products, Finance and Reporting Regulations. You are an ecellent communicator and able to build bridges between different stakeholders. You are able to convincingly bring forward your proposals and as a real team player acquire broad agreement on the road to follow.

You are focused on process design and the translation to IT. You take care of the coordination of the content between specialists from the different domains. You ensure that all requirements of all relevant stakeholders are acknowledged in the analyses and the different solution designs. You support Tribes and squads to take decisions by presenting the different (functional and solution) design alternatives and their impact in a clear way. You guarantee that the business requirements and non-functional requirements are translated to the IT Solution requirements and implemented accordingly. You co-operate with architects and specialists to arrive at a suitable solution.

Therefore, you make a number of coherent analyses:

• Requirements analysis:

You elicit sets of coherent requirements. You take care that the requirements are complete, consistent, of good quality and that they are translated correctly in the design and are maintained and if necessary are adjusted if changes occur. You support the product owners and the squads in managing the backlog by translating and prioritizing the epics to features and together with the squad into user stories.

• Process analysis:
  
  You analyze the current situation, the problems that occur and the underlying causes. Based on this analysis you provide clear process designs
• Information analysis:

You analyze the necessary input, output and adjustment of data in the client processes. You investigate the quality of the captured data in accordance with the regulatory reporting requirements and come up with solutions to improve the quality.

• Risk analysis:

You can translate the policy and regulation of Operational Risk Management, Legal & Compliance to design solutions.

Your education, eperience and background:

• Education at Bachelor/Master level in (business) administration or comparable
  You have knowledge of and e- perience with Business Analysis in a Finance domain
• You are a strong communicator in English; you are able to present your analyses in a clear and concise manner
  You have working knowledge and practical e- perience with Agile and/or Lean
  You have knowledge and eperience in Business and IT in the conte- t of Banking, Financial Accounting & Reporting
• You take responsibility to get the work done, have a can-do-mentality
• You continuously improve the way you are working and you strive to work in a high performing team
• You speak up, actively ask for help and embrace a feedback culture
• You continuously improve yourself and you help your colleagues in their development
• You have a clear affinity with financial data and related tooling to support data analysis
