Job Summary:

The Branch Auditor is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with company policies, and operational efficiency across assigned branches. This role ensures that financial records, cash handling, and business processes are accurate, transparent, and aligned with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular and surprise audits across assigned branches to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review financial statements, cash handling, sales reports, and expense records for accuracy and integrity.
  • Assess operational efficiency and identify potential risks, irregularities, or areas for improvement.
  • Verify compliance with regulatory standards and company guidelines in all branch activities.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation of corrective measures.
  • Provide guidance to branch managers and staff regarding compliance and internal control practices.
  • Collaborate with management to improve internal controls, minimize risks, and strengthen business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of related experience in auditing, compliance, or financial control (experience in branch/retail auditing is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal control systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
  • Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with audit tools or ERP systems is a plus.
