Job Summary: The Shop Operations Manager (SOM) is responsible for overseeing daily operations across multiple e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Shopify, etc.) and business models (B2C, B2B, D2C). This role ensures seamless execution of catalogue management, promotion enrollment, order processing, and customer service coordination while maintaining compliance with platform policies. As a key leader, you will drive team performance to meet execution excellence standards, ensure timely delivery of assignments, and foster continuous process improvements to strengthen operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimize store setup, listings, navigation, and promotional activities across platforms. Ensure campaign readiness including product listing, virtual bundles, stock syncing, and promo enrollments. Conduct compliance audits for shop and product listings, ensuring alignment with regulatory and platform requirements. Facilitate smooth onboarding of new accounts and transition of offboarded shops. Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to listings, promotions, or platform penalties.

Process Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop, maintain, and update SOPs to align with evolving platform tools and system enhancements
  • Identify operational gaps and propose automation tools or process improvements
  • Ensure shop operations schedules align with warehouse and platform operations

Performance & Metrics Compliance

  • Deliver regular KPI reviews and monitor metrics to achieve Three Star/Premium Enabler status for assigned platforms
  • Manage cross-functional projects, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Foster community practices within GDEC, driving team growth and performance excellence

Leadership & Team Development

  • Coach and mentor team members to meet performance goals and adapt to evolving e-commerce tools and practices
  • Ensure alignment of shop operations with organizational vision, mission, and values

Other Duties

  • Perform additional tasks that may be assigned to support overall business operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations Management, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce operations, metrics, activations, and tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of key business drivers, financial systems, and compliance requirements
