Flower Shop Manager

Location: Commonwealth QC

Schedule: Full-time | On-site

Job Summary

We are seeking a Flower Shop Manager to lead and oversee daily shop operations, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and support floral production and event coordination. This role is responsible for maintaining shop quality, supervising workflow, controlling inventory, and driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the flower shop
  • Greet walk-in clients and respond to phone, social media, and online inquiries
  • Assist customers with basic product information and order-taking
  • Process sales transactions, receipts, and daily reports
  • Coordinate order details with florists, deliveries, and suppliers
  • Maintain organized records, schedules, and inventory logs
  • Support marketing posts, promotions, and customer communication
  • Lead and supervise florists, assistants, and front desk staff
  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle VIP/client concerns
  • Coordinate orders, bookings, event setups, and delivery schedules
  • Monitor flower and supply inventory, coordinate with suppliers
  • Oversee cash handling, sales reports, and shop documentation
  • Maintain shop cleanliness, displays, and overall presentation
  • Support marketing initiatives and seasonal promotions

Qualifications

  • Preferably 2–3 years supervisory or management experience in retail, hospitality, or floral/events industry
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of flower shop operations or floral design is an advantage
  • Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office, email, and POS systems
  • Willing to work weekends, holidays, or peak floral seasons
  • Can start ASAP
  • Willing to be assigned in Commonwealth QC
